As soon as you open the door into the grand entry foyer the views of Central Park will take your breath away from not only the grand corner living room but the stately formal dining room as well.

Off the entry foyer is a library, which if you look at the alternate floorplan online, could be converted to a fifth bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom.

The sunny south facing primary bedroom now utilizes its own en-suite bathroom plus the bathroom off the library, offering a “double bathroom suite”.

Also on this floor is a windowed eat-in kitchen with top appliances, including a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a six-burner Viking stove with a vented hood. There are marble countertops, an abundance of cabinets, a wall of storage, and a separate wet bar with a sink and two wine/beverage fridges. Right next to this is the cozy staff room with its own full bathroom.

The stairs down to the 11th floor open to a beautiful TV room and a windowed home office and three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One of those bedrooms is now used as a big dressing/storage room, but can easily be used as a third.

Additional features of this sprawling, one-of-a-kind duplex are a separate laundry room with vented washer/dryer, a gas fireplace, gorgeous herringbone & parquet hardwood floors, three sunny and open exposures, and through-wall AC.

1215 Fifth Avenue is an established pre-war co-op featuring a beautiful lobby, full-time doormen, a gym, courtyard with basketball hoop, a bike room, storage bins, and common laundry room. Central Park is your front yard, and an array of museums are a just a few blocks away.
