This big, bright, east-facing apartment was originally laid out as a huge 1 bedroom. The addition of a frosted glass sliding wall created a 2nd bedroom/office while still having plenty of room for living and dining areas. The large size of all of the rooms and the sliding wall allow for many different layout/living options.
Note that the wall can be removed to convert it back to an enormous 1 bedroom apartment. Please see the 2 floor plans for the layout options.
Oversized windows provide great light and add to the sense of space. Both bedrooms easily accommodate a king sized bed plus furniture. Two double closets in the living room and a large closet in the primary bedroom offer ample storage space.
This home is outfitted with Bosch and Fisher & Paykel appliances including a dishwasher. You will love the convenience of having a full size vented washer/dryer in the apartment! Centrally controlled heating and A/C will keep you comfortable year-round.
This elevator building features a large roof deck with panoramic views of all of Manhattan, gym, and virtual doorman. 189 Avenue C is a condominium built in 2010, located in the vibrant East Village, with its many restaurants, cafes, bars and unique shops all around. Trader Joe’s, Target and Whole Foods have all recently opened nearby.
