Scarsdale

Scarsdale

Scarsdale is approximately 25 miles from midtown Manhattan Manhattan and has an express train to Grand Central, making it one of the most desirable neighborhoods for those who need to commute to Manhattan daily for work. It is an affluent suburb of New York City and regularly places high in various wealth rankings. In 2019, Bloomberg ranked Scarsdale the 2nd wealthiest place in the United States. There are five elementary schools, one middle school and one high school operated by the Scarsdale Union Free School District, and Scarsdale Public Schools system was recently ranked the wealthiest school district in America. There are two villages in Scarsdale: Scarsdale Village and Heathcote Village, both of which have shopping and restaurants.

Scarsdale Village is made up of Tudor-style buildings and is filled with boutiques and restaurants. Farther out, you will find massive multi-million-dollar estates on 1+ acre of land. You can also find tighter communities with smaller plots.

What We Love

Proximity to NYC, tree-lined streets, many shopping and eating options on Central Park Ave, cupcakes at SmallCakes (bigger and better than Magnolia’s!), eating at Chat & Moscato, french pastries and croissants at La Renaissance Pâtisserie Française, and Martines’s Fine Bake Shoppe
