Hudson Heights
The Upper Manhattan neighborhood of Hudson Heights sits on hills and cliffs high above the Hudson River. It is a small enclave up the hill west of Broadway and stretches from 181st Street to the glorious Fort Tryon Park. There you will find some of the best green space in Manhattan, as well as The Met Cloisters, a branch of the Metropolitan Museum showcasing medieval art in a French monastery overlooking the Hudson River.
The neighborhood is home to many co-ops, including the famous Castle Village complex of towers and the historic Hudson View Gardens, one of the oldest continuously operating co-ops in the City. Rents and sale prices are relatively affordable, and apartments are spacious, attracting actors, musicians, artists and young families. Water views, restaurants and a sense of community, along with express subways to Columbus Circle, are additional bonuses.
